Genoa to host sensory fragrance event in historic center

Various cultural and gastronomic events are scheduled across Italy for late 2026. In Genoa, the ‘Genova Profumata’ project, created by Euthalia Fragrances, will transform the historic center into a sensory olfactory path. Running from September 10 to October 18, the initiative covers 5 kilometers and 270,000 square meters, featuring approximately 300 fragrance diffusers. The event celebrates the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO recognition of the Sistema dei Palazzi dei Rolli.

Other regional highlights include the 65th Festa della Castagna in Fénis from October 9 to 11, and the 45th Viverbe festival in Pancalieri from September 18 to 22, which focuses on peppermint and medicinal herbs. In Civitavecchia, the XVIII edition of ‘Terme in Fiore’ will take place on September 12 and 13 at the Archaeological Park of the Baths of Trajan. Additionally, the Piedmont region is boosting railway services with 17 extra trains for the Festival delle Sagre in Asti on September 12 and 13. In Chianciano, the 69th National Congress of the Italian Association of Thermal Medicine (AIMT) will be held on September 18 and 19, gathering medical experts from 11 nations to discuss the future of thermal medicine.
