Genova Tattoo Convention celebrates 20 years in Genoa

The Genova Tattoo Convention will celebrate its 20th anniversary on September 12 and 13, 2026, at the Piazza delle Feste in the Porto Antico of Genoa. The event features tattoo artists from across Europe showcasing various styles and techniques.

Artistic director Riccardo Piaggio describes the convention as an opportunity to experience tattooing as a form of art. The program includes several competitions, such as Black and White and Color categories, with awards for ‘Best of Day’ and ‘Best of Show’. This year’s themed category will focus on cartoons, anime, and manga.

Additional entertainment includes the ‘Miss Tattoo Genova’ contest for adult women with tattoos, the ‘Sagra del Muscolo’ contest, and activities involving fitness and yoga. The Banano Tsunami will serve as a hub for refreshments and collateral activities during the weekend.
