Genshin Impact unveils new Cryo ballerina Odette for upcoming Snezhnaya region

HoYoverse announced Odette, a new Cryo‑element character who is both a prima ballerina of the Korolevskiy Troupe and a member of the Fatui. The character was first seen in the "Snezhnaya Transcendence" trailer and was detailed in a series of drip‑marketing posts that revealed her title "Swirling Snow", her Stellar Linchpin, and her Cygnus constellations.

Odette will be added in version 7.0 of Genshin Impact, scheduled for release on August 12, 2026, when the Snezhnaya region opens. She is the first character to be introduced via drip marketing, and the posts included lyrical excerpts from fellow Snezhnayan Vodyanitsa describing Odette’s mesmerizing dance and cold power. The upcoming update will make her playable across PC, PlayStation, mobile, and Xbox platforms.
