Genspark expands into South Korea with autonomous AI agent technology
Genspark, an AI workspace company, is expanding its presence in the South Korean market. During a fireside chat hosted by SBVA in Seoul, Genspark co-founder and CTO Kay Zhu discussed the evolution of artificial intelligence from simple question-answering tools to autonomous agents capable of goal setting and execution.
Zhu highlighted the emergence of ‘long-horizon agents’ as a critical development. These agents are expected to maintain task context over hours or even days, moving beyond human-processed responses to actively managing entire workflows.
Genspark reported achieving $250 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within one year of its service launch. The company, valued at $2.6 billion with $645 million in cumulative investment, currently serves over 7,000 enterprise customers globally. Following its official entry into the Korean market last month, the company is actively seeking collaborations, including ongoing work with LG Uplus, to enhance enterprise productivity through AI agent technology.
