Gentex Corp. sees multiple institutional investors boost holdings in Q1
In the first quarter, several institutional investors increased their stakes in Gentex Corporation, the auto‑parts maker listed on NASDAQ. The South Dakota Investment Council raised its position by 22.0% to 421,137 shares, representing about 0.20% of the company and valued at roughly $9.2 million. Edgestream Partners L.P. expanded its holding by 523.6% to 199,771 shares, about 0.09% of Gentex and worth approximately $4.4 million.
Other investors also added to their positions: Amundi, Parvin Asset Management, EverSource Wealth Advisors, the California State Teachers Retirement System, Lazard Asset Management, Thompson Siegel & Walmsley, Pacer Advisors, Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management, Hillsdale Investment Management and Cidel Asset Management each increased their share counts during the quarter. Collectively, institutional investors now own about 86.8% of Gentex’s outstanding stock.
