Genzano authorities clear concrete spill from roadway

Authorities in Genzano conducted an urgent cleanup operation to remove a large amount of reinforced concrete that spilled onto the roadway at the intersection of Via Appia Vecchia and Via Appia Antica.

The spill was reportedly caused by a passing concrete mixer. Local police, utilizing surveillance camera footage, have identified the vehicle involved and are conducting investigations. To prevent the concrete from hardening and to mitigate the risk of accidents for motorists and motorcyclists, local police officers and Civil Protection volunteers worked manually with shovels and picks to clear the road and restore traffic flow.
