Genzano di Roma: Man detained after indecent exposure and resisting police

On the evening of Sunday, September 27, law enforcement officers responded to reports of a man behaving indecently in the center of Genzano di Roma. Around 9:15 PM, in the crowded areas near Piazza IV Novembre and the San Sebastiano fountain, witnesses reported that a man, approximately 30 to 35 years old, was harassing women and exposing his genitals.

Initial intervention by the Carabinieri met with strong resistance from the individual, leading to a physical struggle that lasted several minutes. Due to the difficulty in containing the man, officers from the Polizia di Stato were called to assist. After a prolonged effort, the man was immobilized and taken to a police station.

An ambulance was also requested to evaluate the man's medical condition. While witnesses speculated that the man's behavior might have been influenced by alcohol or other substances, authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of his altered state. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances and any subsequent legal actions.
