GeoCamp event held in Langreo and student visits occur in Osorno
The 14th edition of GeoCamp is being held in Langreo, Spain. Organized by the Geoinquietos collective, the free national meeting focuses on Earth sciences, geodata, and open-source software. This year features an ‘Open Space’ model, allowing participants to define the agenda and engage in direct knowledge exchange. The event includes a visit to the Ecomuseo Minero del Valle de Samuño to highlight the region's mining heritage.
In Osorno, Chile, approximately 150 adult education students from the Red Entre Lagos y Volcanes participated in a three-day cultural program at the Osorno Historical Museum. Students from various local institutions, including CEA Andrés Bello and Liceo Manuel Baquedano, engaged in guided tours to learn about the historical, cultural, and natural heritage of the province.
