Geochang County submits 907.7 billion KRW supplementary budget

Geochang County has submitted its second supplementary budget proposal for 2026 to the county council, totaling 907.7 billion KRW. This represents an increase of 55.3 billion KRW compared to the previous budget.

The budget focuses on improving residents' quality of life and stabilizing the local economy amidst high inflation and economic stagnation. Key allocations include funding for cremation facilities, industrial complex development, youth marriage support, and local currency issuance. Additionally, the budget covers infrastructure projects such as road construction and facility improvements to support future regional growth.
