Geoje Suyeang Library will host a lecture featuring artist Seo Eun-hye and her mother, Jang Cha-hyeon-sil, on September 17 at the Geoje Youth Center. The event focuses on Seo's journey of discovering her potential through art and her growth as a professional artist despite developmental disabilities.

The lecture aims to provide inspiration to 200 students receiving special education and 100 interested citizens, fostering empathy and understanding regarding the lives of artists with disabilities.

This event is part of the library’s 2026 reading culture program for people with disabilities. Registration opens on September 4 at 10:00 AM via the Geoje City Library website.
