Geomdan-gu and Incheon Seobu Police partner on CCTV safety monitoring

Geomdan-gu and the Incheon Seobu Police Station have signed a business agreement to strengthen public safety through the joint management and operation of the Geomdan-gu CCTV Integrated Control Center.

The agreement aims to establish a rapid response system for crime, traffic, and disaster-related incidents. Under this partnership, police officers will be stationed at the control center to conduct 24-hour real-time monitoring. This setup allows for immediate field dispatch when emergencies or criminal activities are detected via the surveillance network.

The control center, which opened on July 1, currently manages 1,823 CCTV cameras installed across 725 locations within the district. The collaboration also includes protocols for the efficient management and use of video information to support criminal investigations and accident resolution.
