Geomdan-gu Council officials inspect Lifelong Learning Center

Kim Nam-won, Chairman of the Geomdan-gu Council, and Council Member Na Seon-hee visited the Geomdan-gu Lifelong Learning Center to inspect its facilities and operational readiness ahead of its official opening.

The center will conduct pilot programs from October 19 to November 20. These initial courses focus on practical life skills, including basic AI utilization, real estate fundamentals, organization and storage know-how, and home plant interior design. Registration for these pilot classes opens on October 1 at 10:00 AM via the Geomdan-gu Office and Lifelong Learning Center websites.

During the inspection, Chairman Kim emphasized the importance of creating an open learning space accessible to all residents. Council Member Na suggested expanding the curriculum for next year's regular programs to include high-demand activities such as K-pop dance and Zumba to attract a wider range of age groups. The feedback and participation rates from the pilot period will be used to shape the center's permanent educational offerings.
