Geomdan-gu holds training for new civil servants

Geomdan-gu in Incheon held an appointment ceremony and a two-day practical training program for newly appointed civil servants. The initiative aims to support their transition into public service and strengthen their administrative capabilities.

Moving away from purely theoretical instruction, the program focused on practical skills applicable in the field. The curriculum included the history and organizational structure of Geomdan-gu, official document drafting, administrative system usage, and budget and expenditure management.

District Head Kim Jin-gyu welcomed the new employees, encouraging them to grow into reliable workers contributing to the district's future. Notably, the district's official characters, ‘Geomi’ and ‘Danbi’, were also appointed as special public relations officers during the event to promote a friendly administrative image.
