Geomdan-gu recruits 20 experts to enhance public architecture

Geomdan-gu is recruiting 20 private experts to serve as ‘Geomdan-gu Public Architects’ to enhance the quality and design of public architecture and urban spaces. The initiative aims to integrate private sector expertise and field experience into the early stages of public projects to ensure that new developments reflect regional characteristics and user convenience.

Selected experts will serve a two-year term. Their responsibilities include participating in the planning of public architecture and spatial environment projects, providing coordination and advisory services during the planning and design phases, and participating in the design of small-scale public architecture projects. By involving specialists from the initial planning stages, the district intends to reduce trial and error and ensure a consistent direction from concept to completion.

The recruitment period runs from September 7 to September 18. Interested professionals can submit applications and required documents via email to the Architecture Division of the Geomdan-gu Office.
