A geopolitical analysis suggests that between 30 and 80 nation-states may face a loss of functional sovereignty, economic independence, or territorial integrity over the next three decades. This shift is attributed to the receding influence of the United States and the democratization of precision strike warfare, specifically through autonomous robotics and low-cost drone swarms that challenge traditional security guarantees.

The report argues that sovereignty will increasingly depend on a nation's ability to maintain a unified population and combat demographic collapse. Countries with birth rates below 2.1 children per household are identified as being at risk of fragmentation.
