Georg Stojanovski nets opening goal for Spartak Varna in Bulgarian league debut

Macedonian striker Georg Stojanovski opened the 2024‑25 Bulgarian First League season with a spectacular goal for Spartak Varna. In the 13th minute he received the ball near the centre circle, took a few steps and struck a half‑field shot that deceived the CSKA 1948 goalkeeper, giving his side a 2‑2 draw. The strike follows a strong previous season in which he was Spartak Varna’s top scorer with eight goals. His performance was highlighted despite the absence of Spartak’s coach Gjo­ko Hadzhievski, who missed the match due to administrative paperwork issues.
