George and Amal Clooney appeared publicly with their eight-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, at a fundraiser for the Clooney Foundation for Justice held at Villa Passalacqua on Lake Como. Amal Clooney wore a vintage black John Galliano gown from the designer’s 2004 fall/winter collection, featuring floral embroidery and a chartreuse velvet bow. George Clooney attended in a light gray suit. The family arrived at the lakeside gala by boat.

This appearance follows a period of stress for the family, as they were recently forced to evacuate their home in Brignoles, Provence, due to wildfires in southern France. George Clooney expressed concern for the local community during the evacuation, emphasizing that the safety of residents was his primary concern alongside the preservation of their property.
