George Inch wins Nick Faldo Tour junior event

George Inch of Thurlestone won the Nick Faldo Tour junior event held at Conway Golf Club on August 10 and 11. After shooting rounds of 70 and 71 to lead the overnight leaderboard, Inch secured the victory by three shots following a final round of par.

As a result of this win, Inch has qualified for the grand finals scheduled for November at Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates.

Additionally, the Thurlestone ladies' Presidents team advanced to the semifinals of the President’s Trophy Quarterfinals after defeating Churston with a 5-2 score. The team is set to face Teignmouth at Holsworthy in early September.
