San Francisco 49ers stars Kittle and McCaffrey return to practice

The San Francisco 49ers received a significant boost during training camp as star offensive players George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey returned to practice.

George Kittle was officially activated from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list following his recovery from a ruptured right Achilles tendon suffered in January. Kittle has expressed confidence in his ability to return for the season opener against the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia, on September 11.

Christian McCaffrey also rejoined team drills after a two-week absence. While his time away sparked speculation regarding contract negotiations, McCaffrey stated the break was a planned part of his workload management to ensure he remains fresh for the duration of the season.

Other roster updates include rookie running back Kaelon Black and Jordan James returning to practice, while defensive end Nick Bosa remains sidelined with knee soreness and tendinitis.
