George Mason and Longwood soccer teams play to a 1-1 tie

George Mason University and Longwood University played to a 1-1 tie in a soccer match held at the Longwood Athletics Complex in Farmville, Virginia.

George Mason took an early lead in the first half when Mia Arevalo-Delcid converted a penalty kick at the 31:16 mark. The Patriots maintained a 1-0 lead heading into halftime, despite several shots on goal from Keira Jeffries and Carly Passaro.

Longwood equalized late in the second half, with Meghan Piazza scoring at 80:51 following an assist from Brooke Owens. The match concluded in a draw, leaving George Mason with a 3-2-2 record and Longwood with a 3-3-2 record.
