George Michael: The Faith Tour concert film and album announced

George Michael Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment, and Universal Pictures Content Group have announced the release of ‘George Michael: The Faith Tour’, a concert film and live album documenting the artist’s iconic 1988 tour.

The film, scheduled for a global theatrical release on October 27, features footage captured on 35mm film during two nights at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in France. Directed by Andy Morahan and David Austin, the production utilizes 14 cameras to showcase performances from the artist’s career-defining ‘Faith’ era.

Accompanying the film, an 18-track live album titled ‘The Faith Tour’ will be released on November 6, 2026, in vinyl, CD, and deluxe box set formats. The album includes previously unreleased recordings of hits such as ‘Faith’, ‘Father Figure’, ‘One More Try’, and ‘Monkey’. The release is intended to serve as a historical capsule of the pop era and the artist’s influence on contemporary music.
