George Russell to receive dedicated ‘GRandstand’ at Silverstone in 2027

Silverstone Circuit has announced the creation of a dedicated grandstand named the ‘GRandstand’ in honor of British Formula 1 driver George Russell, set to debut at the 2027 British Grand Prix.

Located at the Farm Curve, the new structure will offer spectators views of the first four corners of the circuit, including key overtaking points at Turns 1 through 4. This follows a similar tradition at the track where driver Lando Norris has his own dedicated section, the ‘Landostand’, located at the Stowe corner.

Russell, who currently drives for Mercedes, expressed enthusiasm for the project, noting that the location at the exit of Turn 1 provides a premium vantage point. The move reinforces the connection between top British drivers and their home circuit.
