George Simion accuses Olguța Vasilescu of bribing AUR MPs and reports 107 signatures to suspend President Dan
AUR leader George Simion told the TV program “Ai Aflat! cu Ionuț Cristache” that Lia Olguța Vasilescu is attempting to bribe individual AUR parliamentarians to secure their backing for a minority PSD government. Simion described the plan as an “illusion” and emphasized that AUR members are “people of dignity” who do not sell their votes.
Simion also announced that AUR has gathered 107 publicly‑declared signatures for a campaign to suspend President Nicușor Dan. The party will launch an online platform allowing citizens to see each MP’s stance on the suspension. He outlined the constitutional process: a request by at least one‑third of MPs, a parliamentary majority vote, and, if approved, a referendum within 30 days.
