George W. Bush praises General Dan Caine at 9/11 anniversary event

Former President George W. Bush praised Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine during a commemorative event for the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks. Speaking from his presidential center at Southern Methodist University alongside former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Bush expressed appreciation for Caine’s current role.

General Caine, who served in the Bush White House, was a military pilot involved in patrolling Washington, D.C. airspace following the 9/11 attacks. At the time of the attacks, he was the chief of weapons and tactics for the 121st Fighter Squadron at Andrews Air Force Base.

Reports indicate that Caine, acting as a top military adviser to President Donald Trump, has previously advised against military conflict with Iran, citing concerns regarding limited munitions stockpiles and insufficient allied support.
