Georgetown field hockey suffers losses to Providence and VCU
The Georgetown University field hockey team has fallen to a 4-6 season record following two narrow losses to Providence University and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
In the matchup against Providence, the Hoyas lost 1-0 after conceding a goal in the final minutes of regulation. Despite defensive efforts and saves from goalkeeper Alex Duff, the team struggled to generate offensive momentum. A subsequent overtime loss to the VCU Rams brought the team's record to 4-6.
