Georgetown volleyball suffers consecutive conference losses

Georgetown volleyball BIG EAST conference St. John's Red Storm Seton Hall Pirates McDonough Arena

Georgetown University volleyball lost two consecutive BIG EAST conference matches at McDonough Arena.

On Saturday night, the Hoyas fell to St. John's in four sets with scores of 12-25, 25-20, 26-24, and 25-23. Despite an early dominance in the first set, Georgetown was unable to maintain momentum against the Red Storm. Lejla Hadziredzepovic led St. John's with 16 kills.

This followed a Friday night loss to Seton Hall, where Georgetown dropped four sets: 17-25, 25-20, 25-23, and 25-22. Following these results, Georgetown moves to a 12-8 overall record and 4-6 in BIG EAST play.
