Georgi Yomov returns to CSKA Sofia after four-year suspension

Georgi Yomov has officially returned to competitive football following a four-year absence due to a doping suspension. He recently appeared for CSKA Sofia's second team in a 3-1 victory against Dobrudzha in Dobrich.

Yomov expressed his satisfaction with his first match, noting that he feels calm and physically prepared despite the long hiatus. While he is currently training and playing primarily with the reserve team, he also participates in training sessions with the first team.

His primary objective is to earn a spot on the CSKA Sofia first team. Yomov stated that he is following a step-by-step process and will leave it to the coaching staff and management to decide if he is ready for the top squad. He also acknowledged the support from fans and noted the responsibility of returning under public scrutiny.
