Georgia Adams signs contract extension with Hampshire through 2028

Hampshire women’s captain Georgia Adams has signed a two-year contract extension, committing to the club through the end of the 2028 season. The 32-year-old all-rounder celebrated the announcement with a standout performance in the Women’s One-Day Cup.

During a match against Surrey, Adams scored 115 runs from 103 balls and took three wickets for 40 runs, leading Hampshire to a four-wicket victory. Adams, who has led Hampshire since 2020, has previously won six trophies with the Southern Vipers and multiple titles in The Hundred and Australia’s Women’s Big Bash League.

Adams earned her first full international cap for England in 2024. Adam Carty, Hampshire’s regional director of women’s cricket, described Adams as the cornerstone of the club’s women’s cricket program.
