Georgia authorities investigate two separate fatal crashes

Two separate fatal incidents have been reported in Georgia. In Atlanta, a 54-year-old man died on Interstate 20 after his SUV struck a center barrier and crashed into a tree, resulting in a vehicle fire. Authorities believe a possible tire blowout caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

In Macon, a 30-year-old man identified as Clint Lee Parrish Jr. was found dead on Forsyth Road early Saturday morning. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident as a hit-and-run, stating that a vehicle struck Parrish and the driver fled the scene without reporting the collision. Investigators have not yet released a description of the vehicle or the driver involved.
