Georgia Bulldogs to host Western Kentucky in Athens

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs are scheduled to host Western Kentucky University at Sanford Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 12. The game, which will be broadcast nationally on the SEC Network, follows a season opener for Western Kentucky where they lost to Nevada 49-14.

In addition to the matchup, several high-profile recruits are expected to attend the game in Athens. Five-star quarterback Jayden Wade, a member of Georgia’s 2028 class, is set to visit the campus during the Bulldogs' “White Out” game. Also attending is elite left tackle prospect Landon Ghea, ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect in the 2029 class.
