Georgia Dane to make acting debut alongside mother Rebecca Gayheart

Georgia Dane, the 14-year-old daughter of actors Rebecca Gayheart and the late Eric Dane, is set to make her acting debut in the Lifetime thriller ‘The Ocean Between Them’. The film is scheduled for release on September 26 as part of the network’s ‘Strength of a Lifetime’ programming slate.

In the movie, Gayheart stars as Joan, a mother who launches a relentless search in the Central American Pacific after her daughter, Miranda, disappears at sea during a vacation in Belize. Georgia Dane will portray Ashley, Joan’s youngest daughter, who assists in the search efforts. The film also features Karl Walcott.

This project marks Gayheart’s first on-screen appearance since a 2019 cameo in ‘Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood’. The debut comes several months after the passing of Eric Dane, who died at age 53 from respiratory failure related to ALS.
