Georgia launches GABBY chatbot to assist residents with state services

The Georgia Secretary of State’s office has launched a new chatbot named GABBY (Georgia’s Automated Bot Built for You) to assist residents in navigating government services. The tool is designed to provide answers using information published on the official Secretary of State website, aiming to reduce the time citizens spend searching through multiple webpages or waiting for assistance via telephone.

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger stated that the initiative is part of an effort to modernize operations and make government services more accessible and efficient. By providing immediate answers to simple questions, the office intends to ease the workload on call center employees and put information directly at the fingertips of Georgians.
