Georgia State defeats Kennesaw State 31-17

Georgia State defeated Kennesaw State 31-17 on Saturday. Lanear McCrary Jr. led the Panthers with 101 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Cameran Brown contributed 253 passing yards and an 18-yard rushing touchdown.

Georgia State established a 21-3 halftime lead and extended it to 28-3 in the third quarter following a touchdown run by Dennis Murray Jr. The Panthers finished the game with 483 total yards and 230 rushing yards. Samer Layous provided additional scoring with field goals of 41, 27, and 43 yards.

Kennesaw State's scoring came late in the third quarter via a 12-yard run by Rickie Collins, followed by a 3-yard touchdown pass from Collins to Jamari Harrold in the final two minutes of the game. Collins finished with 260 passing yards and 46 rushing yards.
