Georgia Taylor-Brown wins WTCS Karlovy Vary triathlon

Georgia Taylor-Brown won the final regular World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) race of the season in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. The Olympic-ranking event was decided by a three-woman breakaway during the cycling stage, consisting of Taylor-Brown, Taylor Spivey, and Therese Feuersinger.

During the running portion, Taylor-Brown maintained her lead to finish with a time of 2:03:05. Taylor Spivey took second place at 2:03:41, while Lisa Tertsch secured third place, finishing 1:28 behind the winner. Therese Feuersinger, who was part of the initial breakaway, dropped back during the run to finish fifth.

Other notable performances included Jeanne Lehair in fourth place and Verena Steinhauser in 13th.
