Georgia Tech completes Tech Square Phase 3 in Midtown Atlanta

Georgia Tech has completed Tech Square Phase 3 in Midtown Atlanta, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 18, 2026. The development consists of two towers—the 18-story George Tower and the 14-story Scheller Tower—adding a total of 416,500 square feet of academic space.

The George Tower will house the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, while the Scheller Tower will accommodate the Scheller College of Business, including MBA and Executive Education programs. The towers are connected by a shared elevator and feature an outdoor plaza and street-level retail.

This project is part of a 25-year transformation of the Tech Square area and was supported by philanthropic contributions from Bill and Penny George, Ernest Scheller, and H. Milton and Carolyn Stewart. The facility is designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between engineering and business disciplines.
