Georgia Tech football recruiting class ranks in ACC top five with 26 commitments

Georgia Tech's 2024 football recruiting class holds 26 committed players, placing the Yellow Jackets at No. 26 nationally in the latest 247Sports rankings and solidly within the ACC's top five classes. The program slipped from No. 24 to No. 26 over the past month but remains nine spots ahead of nearest conference rival Florida State. Head coach Brent Key and his staff continue to evaluate senior tape and guard against poaching by other programs as the early signing period approaches.

The recent hiring of former NFL All‑Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins as an assistant coach could further boost the team's recruiting, especially at the receiver position. Within the conference, Miami leads at No. 2 nationally, followed by Clemson (No. 13) and Virginia Tech (No. 15). Georgia Tech sits ahead of Cal for the ACC's fourth spot and trails Miami, which is expected to claim the top conference ranking.
