Georgia Tech reaches record 200 startup teams in launch program
Georgia Tech’s Startup Launch program has reached a new milestone, surpassing 200 startup teams for the first time. This record-breaking cohort is supported by the university’s Office of Commercialization through initiatives such as CREATE-X and Quadrant-i.
The program assists students, faculty, researchers, and alumni in developing companies across various sectors, including healthcare, robotics, legal technology, and accessibility. Raghupathy ‘Siva’ Sivakumar, chief commercialization officer, noted that the milestone reflects a commercialization ecosystem designed to translate academic ideas into products and companies that address real-world problems.
