The Classic City Clash volleyball doubleheader at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia, featured several key matchups involving George Washington University (GW), Furman, Georgia, and North Florida.

Georgia secured sweeps in both of its matches. The Bulldogs defeated George Washington 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-20) and defeated North Florida 3-0 (21-25, 19-25, 14-25).

Furman split its matches during the event. The Paladins defeated George Washington in a five-set thriller (25-13, 24-26, 25-22, 17-25, 14-16) but lost to North Florida 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 18-25, 18-25). North Florida head coach Abby Gilleland earned her first career win with the victory over Furman.
