Georgios Bartzokas addresses post-game incident in Bologna

Olympiacos coach Georgios Bartzokas has addressed the physical altercation that occurred following the conclusion of the game against Virtus Bologna. Bartzokas stated that he remained stationary while watching the final phase of the match when the Virtus players rushed to celebrate.

He explained that the incident was caused by the crowding resulting from the celebrations rather than intentional provocation by the players. Bartzokas noted that while he did not believe the players acted with malice, he reacted instinctively by pushing them away after they collided with him. He expressed awareness of potential investigations regarding an alleged act of violence and stated he is waiting to see how the situation develops.
