GEOsfera to host astronomy and science picnic in Jaworzno

GEOsfera in Jaworzno will host a summer picnic on August 21, featuring a variety of activities focused on astronomy, nature, and science. The event includes workshops such as ‘Rocket to Space’ and ‘Little Astronomers,’ alongside a field game titled ‘Star Protocol.’

Educational components include a lecture on the facts and myths of meteorites led by Professor Krzysztof Szopa from the University of Silesia, as well as an opportunity to view meteorites from Poland and around the world. The evening will feature a fire theater performance by Nam-Tara and astronomical observations of the night sky guided by Dr. Grzegorz Przybyła.

Participants can utilize a picnic zone and have the option to camp overnight at the GEOsfera camping area using their own equipment.
