Geovanni Ndjee called up to Cameroon senior national team

Nineteen-year-old FC Copenhagen forward Geovanni Ndjee has received his first call-up to the Cameroon senior national team. Head coach David Pagou included the striker in a 28-man squad for upcoming Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers against Namibia, scheduled for November 12 and 16.

Ndjee’s ascent has been rapid since arriving in Denmark from Cameroon’s Kadji Sport Academy in January. Originally intended for FC Copenhagen’s U19 squad, he was promoted to the first team in April after making an immediate impact. He has since appeared in 24 matches across the 3F Superliga, the Danish Cup, and the Conference League, scoring three goals.
