Gepafin invests €350,000 in Sem bond to boost Nocera Umbra mineral water plant

Gepafin Spa, the Umbria‑region‑backed finance company, subscribed new bonds worth €350,000 as part of a larger €12.35 million bond issuance by Sorgenti Emiliane Modena (Sem) Spa, a mineral water and beverage group. The initial tranche of the loan was underwritten by Crédit Agricole Italia and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. The funds are earmarked for investments at the Nocera Umbra plant – Nocera Umbra Fonti Storiche Spa – to increase production capacity, foster innovation and improve competitiveness, with expected positive effects on local employment and the regional economy. Gepafin president Carmelo Campagna said the operation “confirms our role in supporting productive investments with concrete impacts on the Umbrian territory,” while Sem group president Claudio Turchi called Gepafin’s participation “an important signal of confidence” that will accelerate the plant’s development.
