Gerard Piqué and former teammates begin UEFA coaching course in Andorra

Former Spanish national team players Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets, Thiago Alcántara, Javi Martínez, and Santi Cazorla have begun a UEFA B-A coaching course organized by the Andorran Football Federation (FAF).

The group was observed taking notes at the Andorra National Stadium during a friendly match between the Andorra women's national team and the Faroe Islands. This training program is part of the first cohort of the course, which is scheduled to consist of four in-person blocks running through June 2027.

For Piqué, who is currently involved in the daily sporting operations of FC Andorra, the course provides a pathway to acquire necessary technical licenses. Other participants include Sergio Busquets, who serves as an assistant at Barça Atlètic, and Thiago Alcántara, who has previously assisted in coaching roles.
