Gerard Piqué and Ibai Llanos partner in chocolate snack venture

Former footballer Gerard Piqué and content creator Ibai Llanos have announced a new business partnership as partners in Plesh, a Spanish company specializing in sugar-free chocolate snacks. The company recently closed a funding round of 3.75 million euros.

Piqué, who serves as the global president of the Kings League, discussed his career transition from professional football to entrepreneurship. He noted that his move into the business world felt natural, as he had already established his company, Kosmos, and managed projects such as the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia before his retirement.

To promote their new venture, Llanos and Piqué released a promotional video featuring playful banter regarding their respective careers. During the social media interaction, Llanos challenged Piqué to a boxing match at his event, ‘La Velada del Año’, contingent on the video reaching 300,000 likes.
