Gerardo Seoane returns to training after hospital stay

Young Boys Bern coach Gerardo Seoane has returned to training following an emergency hospital admission caused by an acute inflammation of the vestibular nerve. The 47-year-old reported experiencing extreme nausea and dizziness so severe that he was temporarily unable to stand.

Seoane missed his team’s recent 2-0 victory against FC St. Gallen due to the illness. While he has returned to the training ground, he noted that he is not yet at 100 percent and continues to experience fatigue from sensory stimuli. He plans to take things cautiously in the coming weeks, utilizing exercises to retrain his coordination and visual processing as the inflammation subsides.
