GSK targets £40B in sales through oncology growth and cost-savings

GSK Chief Financial Officer Julie Brown has outlined a growth strategy targeting more than £40 billion in sales, a figure that exceeds consensus estimates of £36.4 billion. This higher outlook is primarily driven by the company’s oncology portfolio, including antibody-drug conjugate assets such as MORES and RISRES, alongside BLENREP and Jemperli.

To support this growth and fund pipeline investment, GSK is implementing a simplification program intended to generate £1.9 billion in savings. These funds are expected to help maintain margins during a period of patent expirations for dolutegravir-based HIV medicines. The company anticipates that margins will remain stable or improve between 2028 and 2030.
