Gerindra Party leads political electability in Poltracking survey

A national survey conducted by Poltracking Indonesia reveals that the Gerindra Party holds the highest electability among political parties at 23.2 percent. The survey, conducted between August 14 and August 20, 2026, utilized multistage random sampling with 1,220 respondents across 38 provinces.

Following Gerindra, the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) ranks second with 11.6 percent electability, and the Golkar Party follows in third place with 10.4 percent. Other notable parties include the National Awakening Party (PKB) at 6.2 percent and the Democratic Party at 6.1 percent.

Data tracking trends since October 2025 indicates a downward trajectory for PDIP, which held 15.7 percent electability during that period. Gerindra's numbers have fluctuated, peaking at 26.1 percent in March 2026 before settling at the current 23.2 percent.
