Hameln-Pyrmont prepares for local elections on September 13

Preparations are underway for the local elections in the Hameln-Pyrmont district, scheduled for September 13. Approximately 118,000 citizens will vote to elect a new district administrator and the district council.

Voter notifications are currently being delivered. District election officer Andreas Pachnicke advises citizens who have not received their notification by August 23 to contact their local election office to verify their registration. Postal voting materials will be sent out by municipalities starting August 17, and officials recommend applying for postal ballots as early as possible.
