German 3. Liga clubs boost squads and ticket sales ahead of season

Several clubs in Germany’s third division are acting early in the transfer market to strengthen their squads before the new campaign. 1. FC Saarbrücken, SV Waldhof Mannheim and MSV Duisburg have already secured multiple sign‑ons, aiming to avoid a reactive summer and improve depth and stability. Hallescher FC has added striker Soufian Benyamina, forward Stanley Ratifo and other targeted players, emphasizing continuity while addressing offensive weaknesses identified after last season.

At the same time, fan demand for season tickets is rising. Rot‑Weiss Essen, Alemannia Aachen and Hansa Rostock report strong sales, with Aachen having sold over 10,000 tickets and Essen already close to 7,000. The high turnout reflects growing enthusiasm for the upcoming 3. Liga season across several clubs.
