German 3x3 Basketball Federation hosts U17 championship in Bad Hersfeld

The German 3x3 Basketball Federation held its U17 3x3 Weekend in Bad Hersfeld, featuring youth selection teams from all German federal states competing for the national championship. The event included athletic testing conducted by Goethe University Frankfurt and served as a scouting platform for national coaches to select players for a final camp in Bielefeld.

In the women's division, teams from Baden-Württemberg faced off in the final, with one squad securing an 11-8 victory. The men's competition featured high-stakes matchups, including a final between teams from Bavaria and Hesse. Due to heavy rain, some matches were moved from the outdoor marketplace to the Geistalhalle to accommodate the tournament schedule.
